Meal planning is more than having an answer to ”What’s for dinner?”. Meal planning can be a way to explore food and make culinary discoveries while eating within your time and budget constraints. If you’re aiming for a specific calorie target or diet type, meal planning can help you figure out what you can have instead of what you can’t have.

Building Your Toolbox

We like to think of meal planning as a tool in a toolbox. Just like you have dozens of tools in a toolbox, you have dozens of techniques and methods of doing things that help you succeed every day. While meal planning can be a very helpful tool in reaching your dietary goals, it’s not the only tool we use. Each tool serves a different function and purpose, so it takes all the tools in our toolbox to be successful.

While meal planning by itself is a great tool, we take it a step further and add it to our Nutrition Counseling Packages where we evaluate your specific goals and learn what you want to accomplish with the program. Short on time or resources? No problem, we can help with that. Do you have a pantry full of single ingredients you don’t know what to do with? We can build menus around that. We can work with you one on one to identify goals, calorie targets, and macronutrient ranges while teaching you how to incorporate your meal plans with food and activity tracking tools to get the big picture of your overall nutrition and lifestyle habits.

Direct Subscription to Real Plans™ – this is your best option if you would just like the meal planning app with no guidance or support from us directly.
